Orange

The first facebook social music match application

Orange is the no. 1 telecom brand in Israel, with over 1 million mobile subscribers. A leading triple operator (mobile, web and fixed telephony), Orange places content and content delivery among its top priorities.

Orange collaborated with MeeMix and business administration students at the Interdisciplinary Center (Israel) to release 2mix, the first social music personalization application for Facebook. The smart brain behind the application relies on MeeMix's innovative taste prediction and recommendation technologies, and lets two Facebook friends discover the song that matches both their individual tastes and download it or subscribe to Orange monthly package. Besides providing a unique user experience, 2mix offers a live demonstration of the significant commercial potential in media personalization.

In-store background music based on mood

Crocs Israel, represented by New Cinema, runs the 35 Israeli stores of Crocs, the leading footwear manufacturer and retailer spanning chains in 125 countries. Today, Crocs Israel serves thousands of customers daily in its stores throughout the country.

MeeMix provides Crocs Israel stores with a unique in-store background music management system, allowing management to customize background music for each store according to its target customer segment and environment, and in line with Crocs' established branding. MeeMix shares Crocs' view that the shopping experience should be customized to fit the local trends, and incorporated the option to set pre-scheduled changes in style during opening hours, audio messaging system that incorporates marketing and branded messages in the playlists and other elements that will boost sales and customer satisfaction.

Music search optimization

BeatPick is a music aggregator specializing in providing licensed music for commercial use, primarily to the film, television and advertising industries. Some of its clients include 20th Century Fox, Ralph Lauren, Toyota, Dodge and Lufthansa.

BeatPick relies primarily on the results of its catalog search engine, and employs MeeMix's services in order to optimize its search results efficacy, both in terms of accuracy of results yielded, and the number of relevant items matching the search yielded. In a field where deals involve large sums of money, each search result in BeatPick's catalog is crucial, and BeatPick chose MeeMix technology for the job.

Pay TV personalized playlists and recommendations

Musicoola is the spearhead of digital music broadcasting, offering customized music channels combined with technical and musical expertise to provide a full turnkey solution for all digital broadcasting platforms.

MeeMix taste prediction platform is the backbone smart engine for Musicoola's new high end product - a Personalized Music on Demand channel for Pay TV.

The Interdisciplinary Center (Israel)

IDC

The Interdisciplinary Center is Israel's most professional business administration school, with many of its alumni continuing to chief positions in businesses worldwide. The IDC places emphasis on integrating business students in various projects throughout the industry, combining real-life experience with fresh innovation.

MeeMix has worked with the IDC a number of times and helped promote the understanding and practice of personalization within the academia and its students. In the 2mix project the students designed a social, personalized application based on MeeMix's taste prediction and recommendation platform. The collaboration with the academic world marks MeeMix's strong belief in empirically-tested research processes which lie at the heart of its technologies, combining statistics, machine learning, musicology, and user-behavior psychology.

Data classification

EyeView provides an end-to-end video solution for websites engaging visitors and turning them into customers. After creating compelling video content, EyeView uses its proprietary platform to engage your visitors. The platform publishes the video through an interactive player, with a wide range of display formats. Most significantly, EyeView uses the platform to measure, test, report and adjust the performance of your video to increase conversion.

EyeView relies greatly on its ability to accurately classify its media content and chose MeeMix as an expert in the fields of data classification and data mining to help in a wide and comprehensive data classification project. Following the cooperation with MeeMix Eyeview will be able to better leverage its media assets, significantly improve its recommendations and increase its platform effectiveness.
